A Snippet in the Life

Sometimes when life is wild and we need to find an anchor, we look back at the past to remind us of all of the good times we've had and assure ourselves of all the fun times that are ahead of us. In light of this, we've compiled photos of some of our favorite adventures that we've had this year. Hope you enjoy!

What an adventure! 4:08 am, January 18, our school headed to the March for Life 2019. Armed with our rosaries and prayers we walked in DC surrounded by thousands of people. This was probably one of my favorite experiences ever and probably will be for a long time to come. -Sarah

February 17. That day I had the great blessing to spend my birthday with some of my closest friends at a John 6:35 Retreat and receive a blessing from the Priest! -Sarah

March 14. Eno day! Tons of kids at school strung up hammocks on trees around campus and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. You don't have to be on a crazy adventure to go into nature, Nature is right outside your door!

April Fools Day! But you've already heard this story... (If you haven't check it out here)

April 10. The FFA visits a farm! The donkey is now my pal. -Catherine

May 17. A slushie and sunset date in the country with my friend! -Catherine

June 3. Feet out the window on a drive down country roads in the sun with two of my besties :) -Cat

June 13. In the middle of summer... my family spent a day in the snow while we waited to go to Yellowstone National Park! -Maggie

June 15. A late night walk on the beach with a dear friend. -Cat

July 1. Catherine, Maggie, and I had a sleepover and made Pancakes when we woke up! ...or rather Cat and I made them when we woke up... maggie was still sleeping... -Sarah

July 5. A book + a hammock + the mountains = perfection. -Cat

July 29. A Cookout and sunset date with a good friend and deep conversations. -Cat

August 4. A very beautiful (and very HUMID) day around the Hillsdale arboretum:) -Maggie

After a horribly long charter bus ride (without air conditioning) from Gettysburg PA to DC we stopped in a gas station along the highway and went inside. I asked my friend if she wanted to share a gallon, which seemed like a good idea until we saw the 2/4$ tag. SO there was a change of plans and we each got our own gallon and a slushie straw to drink it with. Needless to say, they didn't last long... -Maggie

A night of Die Hard (the best action movie ever made) + fire pit (s'mores of course) + pool (string lights are a necessity) + friends:) = an amazing way to end summer break -Maggie

August 10. We welcome Ivy (the sweetest and cutest puppy) to our family!

August 29. We officially become upperclassmen! Shedding our black blazers for new maroon ones felt glorious and exciting as we began a new chapter of our lives together! -Sarah

September 18. Sometimes being alone with the Lord in nature is the best way to work out life's problems. -Cat

September 20. What better way to spend a car ride than drinking Chick-Fil-A lemonade and jamming out to music with your siblings? -Sarah

September 21. A visit to my sister at college and a visit to the Shenandoah River rolled into one. A glorious way to spend a glorious fall day. -Sarah

September 21. Pancakes. -Cat

That brings us to the present. Throughout the years people have proven that anything can be an adventure, you just have to have the right mindset! Dedicate your life to God and everything you do will become one step in the grand adventure of life.
