Making the Most

Many of you are probably thinking this is not how you were planning on spending your spring. I know our blog team has definitely been thinking about this. Many things are being canceled, we are not able to go to Mass, we are not able to be in school, and we are not able to see our friends upon many other things.
This is definitely a difficult time and we may be upset that things are this way but we can make the best of this time. We have been given extra that we normally would not have and we can use this to relax, regroup, and do things we may not have time to do usually in the busyness of our normal lives.
During this time when we are stuck at home try to do some things you have been wanting to do and have just not had the time for. Spend some extra time in prayer, spend time with family, go outside, organize, workout, do a project that’s been on your list to do for a while. Another great idea Is to try and learn something new. Just because we can not see our friends in person does not mean we can’t talk to them and grow in our friendships. Text your friends, set up a zoom call, come up with a game you could do virtually, or send them a letter.
We want to encourage you through this time to make the most of your time and stay strong and courageous. We have extra time that we normally wouldn’t have so we should use it for good.
I would also like to add a bible verse that may help some of you during this time-
Be strong and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God, is with you wherever you go.
- Joshua 1:9
